MicroneedlingMicroneedling is a procedure where a pencil like device with pulsating needles is used on the surface of your skin to create micro-injuries. This induces the body to repair the skin by making new collagen.
The procedure is gentle and safe for all skin types. It can be used to treat facial wrinkles, skin rejuvenation, acne scars, and atrophic surgical scars. |
How to PrepareDo not drink alcohol or take blood thinners, including herbal supplements, for 3-5 days before your treatment.
|
During my TreatmentThe treatment area is first cleansed with
an antiseptic solution. An anesthetic numbing cream may be used to reduce the discomfort of the injection. Multiple passes will be made to the treatment area depending on the site and depth of deformity. |
After my TreatmentThe treated area may be swollen, pink, and bruised.
Wash your skin with cool water. Avoid all abrasive products and treatments. You may apply moisturizer and mineral sunblock SPF 30+ after the treatment. Return in 1 month so we can follow up on your results. Additional treatments will be necessary to achieve the desired level of correction. Some individuals may require 3 to 5 treatment sessions depending on the skin condition. |
